Preparation – 2 hours, Cooking time – 20 minutes
2 1/4 cups quick-soak dried peas
1 tsp sea salt 4 tbsp malt vinegar
1 tbsp mint sauce
ground black pepper
Procedures : Soak the peas for 2 hours.
Drain the peas and place in a pan with 1 1/2 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until the mixture is tender and thickened.
Stir in the salt, vinegar and mint sauce, and season to taste. Serve warm
